16 collegians from Morocco & Egypt take part

AhnLab, South Korea’s leading cybersecurity company, announced on Sept. 7 that it had virtually hosted the visits of 16 students from Morocco and Egypt.

Under the cooperation with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), the online event was geared toward helping them the learn Korean language and culture.

Via YouTube Live, AhnLab introduced itself so that participants could get insights about professional careers and the prospect of the potential-loaded cybersecurity business.

The company also demonstrated its facilities, including offices, quality-assurance room, history museum, library, cafe, and break room, before answering their questions.

Students showed great interest and expressed gratitude, according to AhnLab.

“Today, we got the chance to get to know about AhnLab, and It made me more interested in the cybersecurity field,” Samahe El Hajhouj from Morocco said. “It was a great experience that I would like to recommend to other people.”

AhnLab said that its door is open to everybody despite the lingering virus pandemic.

“AhnLab has accumulated comprehensive experiences by conducting the virtual company-visit program in English for foreign university students and international students in Korea,” said In Chee-beom, who leads the firm’s Social Value Initiative Team.

“Any university students connected to the internet can join our program by simply sending a request email.”

Any group of more than 10 people can join the AhnLab program by sending an email to visit@ahnlab.com along with such information as the group’s name, the number of participants, the desired date, and the language option among Korean and English.
