Security strategy seminar attracts CISOs
South Korea’s foremost cyber security company AhnLab said on June 1 that it has successfully wrapped up the AhnLab ISF Square 2023 between May 24 and 31.
The security strategy seminar was geared toward offering a variety of information and chances to meet among chief information security officers (CISOs) of financial firms.
In this event, the participants shared realistic security improvement strategies that can be utilized in corporations and financial institutions, including the latest trends of security threats selected by analysis specialists, according to AhnLab.
AhnLab ISF Square was held offline for the first time in four years since the COVID-19 pandemic.
AhnLab noted that it’s a tenant-tailored security strategy seminar held for companies in a host of industries. Multiple times a year, AhnLab visits customers in various industries and provides tailored security strategies and solutions to suit the characteristics of each industry.
This year’s AhnLab ISF Square 2023 was held three times for each type of tenant, including banks and credit card companies, and insurance companies.
As cyber threats have become more advanced over the past few years, the importance of setting effective security strategies has also increased. As such, the CISOs responsible for the cyber security of their organizations were greatly interested in the latest security intelligence shared by AhnLab.
“While the threat of COVID-19 has been alleviated, the global uncertainty is expected to continue due to the economic crisis, war, and cyber security threats becoming more advanced,” AhnLab CEO Kang Suk-kyoon said.
