Korea’s cyber security firm second to none in reputation
South Korea’s leading cyber security company AhnLab ranked No. 1 in brand reputation for software companies in February, according to the Brand Reputation Index Korea on Feb. 8
Following the company were Douzone Bizon and Dear U.
The research, which was carried out between Jan. 8 and Feb. 8, was designed to gain deeper insight into brand reputation from the perspective of end users.
The research was designed to analyze both the positive and negative reviews about the brand, media popularity, frequency of interactions between consumers, instances of communication in social media, and brand community dominance.
To enhance the qualitative analysis, ESG-related metrics, and owner-related risks are also measured.
For listed software brands, the analysis of reputation was conducted by brand participation index, media index, communication index, community index, market index, and social contribution index.
Short for Environmental, Social, and corporate Governance, ESG has been recognized as three central factors in improving the sustainability of a company or business.
During the past few years, ESG programs have become a hot-button topic for businesspeople, bureaucrats, and scholars both at home and abroad.
Established in 1995, AhnLab has grown into one of the global leaders in cyber threat analysis. It has delivered comprehensive protection for endpoints, networks, transactions, and other services.
Its customer base includes more than 25,000 organizations.
