Korean company gets certifications for key global security product evaluations in 2022
South Korea’s leading cyber security company AhnLab announced on Feb. 8 that it had gained back-to-back certifications in a set of major global product evaluations last year.
Included in the feats are AV-Test in all PC & mobile categories, Virus Bulletin’s VB 100 in the United Kingdom, and ICSA Labs renewed certification in the United States.
V3 was the only security provider in Korea, which kept obtaining the above-mentioned major global certifications.
“For years, V3 has participated in numerous global security product evaluations and has continued to earn both outstanding scores and recognition for our technological capacity,” AhnLab Chief Technology Officer Eric Jun said.
“AhnLab would draw on this cutting-edge global capacity to continue developing integrated security technologies to respond to advanced security threats.”
For AV-TEST’s testing criteria, AhnLab V3 received a perfect score of six points in the “Protection” category and was selected as a “Top Product,” according to the company.
In the VB 100 test, AhnLab detected 100 percent of the malware samples in all the rounds in which it participated.
ICSA Labs carries out monthly tests and issues updates for product certifications. AhnLab has renewed its certification in the ICSA assessment for the past 12 years in a row.
Founded in 1995, AhnLab has grown into one of the global leaders in cyber threat analysis. It has delivered comprehensive protection for endpoints, networks, transactions, and other services.
Its customer base includes more than 25,000 organizations.
