Less is sometimes more! ✌ Together with my coaches, I have decided that it makes more sense for me to withdraw from the home World Cup in Oberhof and make use of another block of training. I’m very happy that things went so well in Nove Mesto, but this winter I must take things one day at a time and see how I’m doing and what’s possible. #bettertobefAst #winter fans #biathlon #stepbystep

Dahlmeier had celebrated the last world Cup in Nove Mesto, a strong Comeback after a long injury break, and seats two (Sprint) and five (persecution) retracted. “But that does not automatically mean that we should expect after such a difficult period of every week, maximum benefits and miracle,” said Florian Steirer, discipline-coach of the German women: “We will continue to adhere to our common Plan and try you best possible to the world Cup in March.”

Vanessa Hinz is missing in the twelve-man squad of the German ski Federation (DSV), the 26-Year-old paused due to a cold. For Hinz, and Dahlmeier Anna Weidel and Nadine Horchler will start.
