Saudi Arabia fans love BTS products

With the live performance of K-pop superstar BTS weeks away in Saudi Arabia, everything related to the seven-piece boy group seems to gain traction in the Middle East country.

In particular, a coffee brand associated with the idol group wins the hearts and minds of fans there. BTS plans to play in Saudi Arabia on October 11 for the first time since its debut in 2013.

HY Fresh recently said that the Korean food company fails to meet the rising demand for its coffee brand featuring BTS in Saudi Arabia. It currently takes pre-orders for the products, which would be delivered in about a month.

The Seoul-based outfit partnered up with Cold Brew By Babinski to come up with its BTS Edition late last year. Babinski is the 2015 U.S. barista champion.

It is a specially packaged edition featuring the seven members of BTS. BTS fans, otherwise called ARMYs, have tried to purchase all seven bottles as collectibles. ARMY refers to Adorable Representative M.C. of Youth.

And the products gain popularity in Saudi Arabia ahead of the live concert due next month.

Cold Brew By Babinski partnered with BTS and HY Fresh, thanks to the K-pop act’s popularity across the world.

“BTS and its seven members are beloved around the world thanks to their individual talent and performance. That is why we’ve decided to launch a BTS special package,” it said.

HY Fresh Director Kim Dong-joo also expressed high hopes on the products.

“Cold Brew and BTS are similar in that they’ve both broken the standards and have paved the way in popular new trends,” he said. “We look forward to putting forth great synergy with BTS through various marketing promotions.”
