Boy group member's popularity continues
As one of K-pop superstar BTS’s most popular members, Jimin, continues to grab headlines throughout this week even though he does not perform on the stage. On July 22, Jimin was included in the list of “The 10 Best-Dressed Men of the Week,” which was picked by GQ magazine. In particular, the U.S. magazine first mentioned Jimin in its official Twitter post. GQ showed Jimin’s picture taken last week when the 23-year-old returned home via the Gimpo International Airport after finishing the band’s Japanese concert.Also included in the top 10 list were Woody Harrelson, Cole Sprouse, and DeAndre Jornan to name but a few.Jimin’s Chinese fan club “Jimin Bar China” also surprised ARMY this week by coming up with a video teaser for the superstar’s birthday on October 13. Brief for Adorable Representative M.C. for Youth, ARMY refers to loyal BTS fans.The teaser, which showed 11 cities such as Beijing and Shanghai, became a huge talk across the world.Last year, the fan club hosted 18 large-sized events not only in China but also in the Netherlands, Taiwan, and Japan to celebrate Jimin's birthday.This year, it seems to plan yet another mega-sized project in October.BTS concert in Saudi Arabia will take place on October 11, just two days before Jimin’s birthday.
