Jimin breaks down weeping at London concert

During their second sold-out concert at London’s Wembley Stadium on June 2, several members of K-pop superstar BTS got emotional as the audience sang “Yong Forever” to them.

Two members of Jimin and Jungkook even broke down weeping. Video of the moment went viral across the world.

In particular, Jimin has been prone to tears during the seven-piece boy band’s globe-trotting concert tour, which started last month as a follow-up to their latest studio album “Map of the Soul: Persona.”

On May 5, BTS performed at the Rose Bowl to kick off their “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” tour in the United States.

Royal California fans passionately supported the idol group. So moved, Jimin struggled to fight back the tears, and at one point he even wiped tears away from his face.

After finishing six concerts in the U.S., the septet headed toward Sao Paulo, and the tears followed Jimin, whose real name is Park Ji-min.

Overcome with emotion, the 23-year-old cried while singing “The Truth Untold” with his bandmates, prompting the ARMY to go into a global breakdown. Short for Adorable Representative M.C. for Youth, ARMY refers to global BTS fans.

The next day, Jimin said that he cried because he was deeply moved to see the audience sing together with BTS members.

And Jimin also openly wept on June 2 at the close of the concert.

Now the band heads toward Paris before taking a flight to Japan. It remains to be seen how many times Jimin will break down crying again.

In consideration of his track record, Jimin is likely to show his tears a few more times during the remaining concert tour as fans are sure to sing together with BTS members in Paris and Japan.
