Boy band holds final concert in Seoul
When K-pop superstar BTS dropped its fourth studio album “Map of the Soul: Persona” this April, some suspected whether or not the idol group would remain ahead of the pack throughout the year.
The seven-piece boy band, however, silenced critics once and for all. They shattered YouTube records, topped global charts, won prestigious awards, and hold sold-out concerts across the globe.
BTS has won the hearts and minds of fans through their “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” concert tour, which encompassed such cities as Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Sao Paulo, London, and Paris.
After having an extended break in August for the first time since its 2013 debut, the K-pop act resumed its work in September to perform in Saudi Arabia early this month.
On October 26, the group held its final concert for the global tour in its homeland of Korea. And to the last minute, it had something to surprise its fans, dubbed ARMY, short for Adorable Representative M.C. for Youth.
BTS lead vocal Jimin fascinated fans with a new hair color of silver. As soon as the concert began, his silver hair trended worldwide.
His hairstyle reminded many fans of 2016 when BTS rocked the globe with “Blood, Sweat, & Tears.”
Among the seven members, Jimin is one of the most popular ones along with Jungkook, and V, as demonstrated by several surveys and polls.
