Youngest BTS member releases song on his birthday
On your birthday, you are supposed to get wishes and presents from your family members and friends. But here is a unique entertainer, who offers a gift on his own birthday.
He is Jungkook, the youngest member of K-pop superstar BTS. On his 22nd birthday of September 1, he released his own original song on Twitter to get 7 million views in less than 14 hours.
The untitled English-language song is sung mostly in Jungkook’s lower register. And fans as well as his bandmates showered him with love through the social-networking site.
“It’s a beautiful song, perfect lyrics with a deep mean, smooth voice. Love it. Thank you for this gift on the first day of September. It’s perfect,” a fan said.
“I don’t normally write or comment, but I couldn’t help it this time. I could feel the melancholy and sadness surrounding this beautiful and heart-touching song. For sure, what was written came from your heart,” another fan said.
“I hope you will realize that many of us love you just the way you are, on or off the stage. I am looking forward to listening to the full song. No pressure. Wishing you the best and lots of happiness today and always.”
Others praised his voice, saying that they are fascinated by the song.
“I finally got to listen to this, and I’m just don’t know what to say. I’m just lost in words how Jungkook never fails to surprise us. It’s his birthday, but then it’s him who’s giving us a gift we really don’t deserve. This song is so beautiful. I’m in tears,” a Twitter user said.
“Whenever I listen to your song the more, I fell in love with you. Your voice is so precious to me. I can’t spend a day without hearing your beautiful angelic voice. You are so talented that you deserve the best among everything,” another said.
Jungkook’s bandmates like Suga, RM, Jin, and J-Hope also celebrated Jungkook’s birthday and new song.
Of note is that American pop star Justin Bieber also celebrated Jungkook’s birthday with a Twitter message, noting “Happy B-Day, Jungkook. They ain’t ready. Not watch this tweet go crazy.”
