K-pop superstar BTS will team up with former U.S. President Barack Obama, American pop star Lady Gaga, and Google CEO Sundar Pichai for a YouTube event slated for early next month.

Big Hit Entertainment, which manages BTS, said this week that the seven-member boy band will perform during a virtual commencement event named “Dear Class of 2020.”

The streaming event will take place on June 6 to celebrate graduates, their families, and their communities online at a time when the world struggles to deal with the new COVID-19 coronavirus.

On top of Obama, included in the speakers’ list are 2014 Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai, and former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

BTS is scheduled to play in an after-party following the YouTube ceremony alongside other artists.

BTS has released its fourth studio album “Map of the Soul: 7” this February to gain global popularity.

The album has sold more than 500,000 pure copies in the United States, which is the first exploit by a K-pop group, according to the Forbes.

The idol group was initially set to go on a global concert tour but indefinitely delayed the schedule due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
