OST album will be released on June 28

International fans of K-pop megastar BTS have waited for the advent of “BTS World,” the simulation game that will be published by Korean gaming giant Netmarble.

The Seoul-based company recently announced that the interactive game will be launched on June 26 to enable players to become virtual managers of BTS.

The mobile game has excited BTS fans because it will feature more than 10,000 photos and 100 story videos of the group members, who are rocking the globe with their latest album “Map of the Soul: Persona.”

And a piece of news is making them go wild again – BTS plans to release an album containing the original soundtrack from the game two days after its release.

In other words, the seven-piece boy band will come up with a new album on June 28, in about two and a half months after the latest seven-track studio album.

Pre-orders already started for the album, which will be composed of a photo book, CD, double-sided photo card, game coupon, and lenticular card.

In addition, the first original sound track was disclosed. Three BTS members of Jin, Jimin, and Jungkook worked for the track titled “Dream Glow.”

Toward that end, the three collaborated with Charli XCX, an English singer-songwriter, and record executive.

Of note is that she rose to fame in 2013 thanks to the Icona Pop collaboration on “I Love It,” which became a global hit. In the year, Seoul-based management agency BigHit Entertainment debuted BTS.

For “Map of the Soul: Persona,” BTS worked together with American diva Halsey. Previously, the idol group also joined hands with such celebrities as Steve Aoki, a famous U.S. DJ and record producer.

BTS, otherwise known as the Bangtan Boys, recently finished its globe-trotting stadium tour.
