Korean home appliance giant demonstrates cutting-edge techs

Coway, South Korea’s first-tier producer of home appliances, announced on Jan. 6 that it had demonstrated innovative products during the Consumer Electronics Show 2022 in Las Vegas.

The Seoul-based company had taken part in the annual tech fair for six straight years since 2016, with the sole exception of last year when the CES went online due to the virus pandemic.

Coway said that its products showcased smart-life solutions to win the hearts and minds of people at the CES. For this year, the company came up with the theme of “We innovate for your better life.”

Attracting attention most is the smart-care air mattress, which Coway plans to launch during the first quarter of this year.

The next-generation sleep solution is based on patented technology, which detects people’s body pressure and sleeping position. As a result, it adjusts to one of nine firmness levels, according to Coway.

The company enabled visitors to its booth to experience and interact with leading-edge smart sleep solutions and connected products.

Coway also said that its digital technology also drew big attention, including an augmented-reality brochure.

“At the world’s largest innovative tech fair CES, we have represented South Korea to win the recognition of visitors and buyers during six consecutive years,” a Coway official said.

“On the back of our success at the CES, Coway would strive to become a life solution provider not only in South Korea but also in the global scene.”
