Samsung's new smartphone available across the world

South Korea’s Samsung Electronics announced on Feb. 25 that the company's Galaxy S22 smartphones and Galaxy Tab S8 series had hit shelves around the world.

The Seoul-based outfit said that the two devices chalked up more preorders within the first week than any other Samsung phones and tablet PCs to date.

The tech giant noted that preorders for the Galaxy S22 series have more than doubled those of the Galaxy S21 series.

“We’re thrilled that these devices have already become among our most popular ever,” Samsung Executive Vice President Bryan Choi said.

“At Samsung, we remain committed to offering boundary-pushing innovation, and these new devices not only provide more choices for Galaxy fans but access to the full Galaxy ecosystem of devices and partners for a truly connected experience. We cannot wait for users to live their lives more easily and connect with others more seamlessly.”

Samsung said that the two gadgets had broken the rules with AI advancements for the best photos and videos on a Galaxy device.

The Galaxy Tab S8 series is is available in three models _ Tab S8, S8+, and Tab S8 Ultra.

Samsung said that the Galaxy S22 series and Galaxy Tab S8 series would be available from Feb. 25 in select markets, including Europe, North America, and Korea.

"We will further expand markets and model availability starting in March,” a Samsung official said.

Samsung Electronics is the world's largest manufacturer of mobile phones, memory chips, and flat-panel displays.
