goalkeeper Petr Cech from Premier League club Arsenal FC has announced for the summer of his career. “It is my 20. Season as a professional footballer and it was 20 years ago that I signed my first professional contract. The time feels right for me,” said the 36-Year-old.

Cech this season is only the number Two between the posts for the Gunners behind goalkeeper Bernd Leno. Arsenal are thanked in a first reaction, “for Your professionalism, for 50 games without conceding a goal, for Your honesty, integrity and for being a perfect role model” in the final man.

Cech, who played for Chelsea and Arsenal so far, 623 duty games best, was changed in 2002 from the French first division club Stade Rennes to Stamford Bridge. With the Blues he won four Times the English championship and the FA Cup, he could win with his current club Arsenal once again in 2017. In addition, he repeated in 2012 at the “Finale dahoam” in the Munich Allianz Arena against German record champion Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
