Boy group will share title track via TikTok early Feb. 21

The global fans of K-pop superstar BTS will be able to listen to the title track of the group’s new album 12 hours in advance, which would be a piece of good news for ARMY.

TikTok said on February 19 that the video-sharing social networking service will disclose a part of the song, “On,” at 6 a.m. on February 21.

BTS plans to release its fourth studio-album “Map of the Soul: 7” at 6 p.m. on the day.

But the seven-piece boy group will upload a 30-second preview of the new single at the Beijing-based social media platform.

This marks the first time for the septet to share a part of its lead singles ahead of schedule since its debut in 2013.

The new album is composed of 20 tracks such as “Interlude: Shadow,” “Black Swan,” “Filter,” “Inner Child,” “Moon,” “Respect,” and “Outro: Ego.”

“On” has a digital version featuring Sia, an Australian singer-songwriter who is famous for such songs as “Chandelier.”

The band already dropped its concept photos, comeback trailers, and a pre-release track for the album.

The number of pre-orders for the upcoming album has already topped 4 million this week across the world, which is also the biggest ever in the idol group’s seven-year history.
