Applications for contracts will be received in early January

South Korea’s Hyundai Engineering & Construction (E&C) announced on Dec. 28 that it would start selling apartments at a complex in southeastern Incheon next month.

The Seoul-based builder plans to receive applications between Jan. 9 and Jan. 11 for the complex, dubbed “Hillstate Incheon City Hall Station.”

Hyundai E&C plans to offer a total of 746 flats, of which sizes will range between 39 and 84 square meters.

Hyundai E&C expected that the demand for the apartment complex would be strong because real estate regulations in Incheon were lifted of late.

As a result, buyers can get loans more easily, and those who already own houses can purchase the flat without many restrictions.

The contractor noted that residents in the new apartment would have easy access to a subway station where Incheon Subway Lines 1 and 2 meet.

Included in nearby facilities are public libraries, parks, discount chains, and department stores, according to Hyundai E&C.

“The complex is equipped with study rooms, a fitness center, and an indoor golf driving range for the benefit of residents,” a Hyundai E&C official said.

“Another potential advantage of the new complex is the metropolitan express train GTX Line B, of which construction will start in years to come.”
