Korean automaker named best certified CPO program

Autotrader, the most visited third-party car shopping site in the United States, picked Hyundai Motor as the best non-luxury certified pre-owned (CPO) program among the non-luxury pack on May 16.

In other words, Hyundai was acknowledged as having the longest manufacturer warranty coverage in the business. It won the recognition for two straight years and three times in the last four years.

“CPO programs offer consumers amenities that rival those of many new cars, thanks to manufacturer-backed warranties and rigorous inspection processes. While all CPO programs are great, some stand out from the crowd,” Autotrader Executive Director Brian Moody said.

“Hyundai and Lexus won our vote for the top spots in their classes for the second consecutive year due to great warranty coverage and amazing perks should anything go wrong.”

He continued to praise the Hyundai program as a clear leader among its competitors.

“Hyundai’s CPO program is a significant value and perfect for budget-minded shoppers looking for a no-hassle, affordable car – and that’s exactly why it’s our top non-luxury program again,” he said.

“The length of the powertrain warranty, plus the remainder of the limited bumper-to-bumper new car warranty, plus the 10-year roadside assistance are hard to beat. In fact, if you want a better overall certified program, you’ll need to move up to a luxury brand.”

Hyundai Senior Manager Wayne Szabo explained Hyundai program’s advantages.

“At Hyundai, we offer a better CPO program that supports owners by providing the most value,” he said.

“This begins with a rigorous 173-point inspection to guarantee excellent vehicle quality, a complete vehicle history report and an industry-leading suite of roadside assistance, rental car, and travel interruption reimbursement benefits to earn customer satisfaction.”
