KGC’s new products sold out in two weeks
Jung Kwan Jang’s ginseng oil product, dubbed RXGIN Clean, has won the hearts and minds of customers as it sold out in just a few weeks after its launch late last month.
Korea Ginseng Corporation (KGC), the world’s largest red ginseng firm, announced on Sept. 20 that the initial supply of 3,000 RXGIN Clean products sold out soon. Jung Kwan Jang is KGC’s flagship brand.
Ginseng oil is an extremely rare substance, as up to 10 roots of red ginseng are necessary to come up with a single capsule weighing 502 milligrams.
“Because it is difficult to churn out RXGIN Clean products due to the lack of red ginseng oils, we will release the second supply sometime this month,” a KGC official said. “They will be available at the end of this month or early next month.”
The popularity of RXGIN Clean appears to be based on scientific research _ a vast majority of its customer base was found to be men aged 50 and above.
Midway through this September, a team of Korean scientists disclosed their findings that red ginseng oil is a safe and effective solution for improving prostatic hyperplasia.
Prof. Kim Sae-woong from Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital has led the studies along with KGC experts.
The paper was published in a recent issue of a peer-reviewed international journal, The World Journal of Men’s Health.
The joint team conducted a clinical test on 88 men aged 40 or more with prostatic hyperplasia to discover a substantial effect of red ginseng oil on the symptoms.
“We found that red ginseng oil not only significantly improves the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia but also enhances dysfunction,” Prof. Kim said at the time.
“The absence of adverse reaction in patients holds great significance in demonstrating that red ginseng oil offers a safe and effective approach to treating benign prostatic hyperplasia.”
