Korean ginseng maker offers various gifts timed with World Cup

Korea Ginseng Corporation (KGC) announced on Nov. 22 that it had launched the Everytime Tottenham edition in collaboration with the Premiere League club.

The English club is well known to Koreans because of its player Son Heung-min, a star forward and captain at South Korea’s national team.

KGC noted that the special-edition products would include photo cars of Tottenham players, including Son, Harry Kane, Hugo Lloris, and Dejan Kulusevski.

Everytime is the premium brand of the Korean ginseng maker. Its products are made of concentrated extracts from six-year-old Korean red ginseng root bodies.

In addition, KGC said that the company would start a marketing campaign of offering various gifts. Customers can apply at the webpage of KGC, and successful applicants will be picked by lottery.

Another campaign of KGC is a dedicated mobile game where people can play football games and predict the results of the World Cup to win discount coupons.

“Timed with the global football festival, we strive to help people enjoy the football matches,” said Yang Kyung-man, who leads the KGC brand team.

“We hope our players, including Tottenham Hotspur’s Son, will chalk up stellar performances.”

The FIFA World has begun this week in Qatar. Headed by Son, the South Korean team is also participating in the quadrennial event.
