Able C&C brand winds 25 prizes at biannual event

Korean cosmetics maker Able C&C, which operates the popular Missha brand, said on June 23 that the company had won 25 prizes in Glowpick’s 2020 Consumer Beauty Awards.

A total of seven Missha products topped the podium, while 15 products were included in the top-three list. Three more Missha items were also picked as the rising stars.

Missha’s Super Aqua Ultra Hyalron Cream was selected as the best moisture cream, while its Vita C Plus Spot Correcting & Firming Ampoule was next to none in the brightening essence category.

The outfit’s All Around Safe Block Aqua Sun Gel also defeated all of its rivals. In the color cosmetics categories, consumers chose Missha’s Cho Bo Yang BB Cream, Dewy Glossy Eyes, and Color Fix Eye Primer as the best products in the market.

No other competitors managed to garner more prizes than Missha in the biannual event hosted by Glowpick, a Korean beauty review site where consumers rate beauty products themselves.

As Glowpick features almost all K-beauty products and their reviews by end consumers, it has become a go-to source for those who are into K-beauty from across the world.

On top of offering their real-time rankings, Glowpick hosts awards twice a year to recognize the best K-beauty products.

For the first half of this year, more than 100,000 products were checked based on about 377,000 consumer reviews during the first six months of 2020.

“We think that consumers’ recognition of our products’ competitiveness and cost-effectiveness led to the 25 prizes,” Able C&C Chief Marketing Officer Lee Jun-sung said. “We will continue to offer quality products at affordable prices.”
