Brokerage keeps communicating with clients in the virus era

NH Investment & Securities said on May 20 that the company plans to hold a YouTube seminar aimed at offering advice in investing in the real estate market and saving tax payments.

The Seoul-based brokerage will start the seminar 3:30 p.m. on May 27 through the world’s largest video-sharing platform.

The company started an online seminar this year in order to meet the rising demand for a non-face-to-face event due to the new COVID-19 coronavirus.

Last month, more than 2,000 investors took part in the NH YouTube event.

Anybody can take part in the free event after applying through NH Securities branches or website.

“In line with the government guideline of social distancing, we will continue to put forth efforts to provide detailed information to our customers through online seminars,” an NH official said.

NH Securities was launched in 2006 when Sejong Securities was incorporated into the National Agricultural Cooperate Federation, otherwise known as Nonghyup.

Currently, CEO Jeong Young-chae heads the outfit, whose largest shareholder is NH Financial Group. Its stake is 76.09 percent.
