Brokerage house holds YouTube seminar

NH Investment & Securities plans to hold a real-time seminar through YouTube to help people invest their assets in a more smart way amid the virus woes.

The Seoul-based brokerage house said on April 13 that the seminar will start at 3 p.m. on April 22 through the video-streaming platform.

The event will be about how to deal with the economic threats caused by the novel COVID-19 coronavirus and the bearish raw material prices.

It will be composed of two sessions where two NH researchers would communicate with investors.

The global asset market is facing high volatility due to the coronavirus pandemic. Hence, we need to keep an eye on the financial markets,” an NH official said.

In this climate, online seminars appear to be proper as the country put forth efforts for social distancing campaigns.”

NH Securities was launched in 2006 when Sejong Securities was incorporated into the National Agricultural Cooperate Federation, otherwise known as Nonghyup.

Currently, CEO Jeong Young-chae heads the outfit, whose largest shareholder is NH Financial Group. Its stake is 76.09 percent.
