Brokerage house carries out new event

NH Investment & Securities joins hands with Kakao Bank to enable the latter’s customers to open new accounts of the former just in a few minutes.

NH said on February 25 that Kakao Bank clients will be able to create its account in less than three minutes by offering basic information through the internet bank’s app.

The brokerage house said that new customers through the Kakao Bank app will be able to subscribe to a high-yield product. Their trades will be exempted from fees, too.

In addition, a 10,000 won bonus will be offered by the end of next month.

The life-long free-of-charge account is a must for citizens, who are ready to make investments throughout their life,” an NH official said.

NH Securities was launched in 2006 when Sejong Securities was incorporated into the National Agricultural Cooperate Federation, otherwise known as Nonghyup.

Currently, CEO Jeong Young-chae heads the outfit, whose largest shareholder is NH Financial Group. Its stake is 76.09 percent.
