Notebook 7 & Notebook 7 Force to hit market

Samsung Electronics takes the wraps off its two new laptops named the Notebook 7 and Notebook 7 Force, which the company says will come with serious speed and power.

The Seoul-based company said June 3 that the former includes diamond-cut edges and a near bezel-less display with enhanced comfort and usability features designed for everyday use.

The latter is built for consumers who want superior performance from their PC as it comes with next-generation graphics and expandable storage while offering an immersive viewing experience in a solid metal frame, according to the tech giant.

The Notebook 7, which is available in 13-inch and 15-inch models, features a slim body and a high screen-to-body ratio, which can easily be carried.

“With Gigabit Wi-Fi, users can instantly transfer large files, download a big presentation, or stream their favorite show without any buffering,” a Samsung official said.

The official also noted that the Notebook 7 Force delivers a supercharged PC experience as it enables around 70 percent faster speeds than the previous-generation models.

“Thanks to the Notebook 7 Force’s expandable storage system and lightning-quick file-reading capabilities, users can manage files and apps with maximum efficiency,” he said.

Samsung said that the two products bring an eye-catching design. For example, the Notebook 7 Force measures just 17.9mm in thickness, making it durable and light, despite its solid metal frame.

Samsung Senior Vice President Choi Young-gyoo noted that the two products will offer an unprecedented experience to end customers.

“The new Notebook 7 and Notebook 7 Force blend elegant design with impressive power and top-notch speed to give consumers an unparalleled experience,” Choi said.

“These devices expand our portfolio in new directions, giving consumers the opportunity to pick the device that perfectly suits their lifestyle.”
