Max Hopp is excreted as the last German Pro at the Darts world Championships in London. The 22-Year-old lost in the third round of the 1:4 against the world’s number one Michael van Gerwen.
Only after being 0:3 behind, the German number one came better into the game and increased against the best players in the world. But in the fifth set, van Gerwen made definitively clear conditions. Hopp missed, thus, also in the sixth start-up qualify for the last sixteen, so far it had done no German participants in the round of 16.

Before the fight, of Hopp, the spectators had seen a pack at the end of the third round match. The two-time world champion Gary Anderson beat the Dutchman Jermaine Wattimena 4:3 and was able to avert the premature retirement against the outsider. Anderson has already led 3:1 and had Match Darts, leaving his rivals but then again back in the game. In the decisive seventh set, Anderson was already 0:2-Legs, fought back, but then again.
