RM craves for black bean sauce noodles

After finishing its “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” stadium tour in North America, South America, and Europe, K-pop superstar BTS came back to Korea on June 10.

On returning home, the members would have a lot of things to do. For the leader of the seven-piece band, eating jjajangmyeon seems to be his top priority.

RM, whose real name is Kim Nam-joon, posted a tweet saying “Wait, jjajangmyeon, I am coming.” It is Korean-style Chinese black bean sauce noodles, which is one of the favorite dishes of many Koreans.

This is not the first time for the 24-year-old to show his love for the noodles.

RM once said on a TV show that he really wanted to eat jjajangmyeon during his trainee days, but his agency of BigHit Entertainment did not allow it.

Most trainees go on restricted diets with regard to their caloric intake and jjajangmyeon is typically on the list of forbidden dishes.

RM said that he lied to his agency as if he had to use the restroom and ran out to a nearby restaurant to eat jjajangmyeon in a hurry.

BTS fans came up with lots of warm responses to RM’s funny post.

“I know you missed home. I hope one day I can see you again. I will never forget about you. Your the best. Thank you for the post. I know the miles separate us but look up at the sky. We are all looking up at the same sky and moon,” a fan said.

“One step closer to home and the food you've been craving. I'm so glad that you made it home safely. Just try and eat well, rest well and stay healthy. You deserve to have the best time ever, hopefully I'll get to see you again soon,” another fan said.
