Seungri suspected of lying again

Retired singer Seungri, who is at the center of the K-pop drug-and-sex scandal, brought Kim Lim, a daughter of Spain professional football team Valencia CF owner Peter Lim, to the fore.

In a recent interview with a local newspaper, Seungri tried to defend himself by saying that he looked for ladies, who will become travel companions to shop with a foreign investor called “Kimmy.”

The comments were seemingly aimed at dealing with the suspicions that the disgraced celebrity ordered his employees to solicit prostitutes for a foreign investor at a nightclub in Seoul called Arena.

Kim Lim wasted no time rebuffing the remarks through her post in Instagram.

“Some time before the news broke, I received a phone call from Seungri. It turns out there has been a leaked conversation of him allegedly soliciting prostitutes for his investors,” she noted.

“He asked me a few weird questions and hung up. I don’t know why he called me and how I was involved in this saga at all. Needless to say, after the call I was left completely confused.”

Kim Lim admitted that she visited the Arena club and Seungri got her a VIP table. But she denied any involvement in the scandal by saying, “I’m not involved in any way whatsoever.”

Now it is a game about who is more credible. Seungri may struggle to gain trust because he lost credibility while explaining this scandal thus far. Some even contend that panicked Seungri throws everybody under the bus.

Of note is whether or not he will respond to Kim Lim.

Is Kim Lim close to Seungri?

“He called me to say he was stuck in Bali as they had closed the airport ‘cos of the volcano eruption,” she told the magazine. “So I asked my dad, who knows him too, and he said ‘Okay lah, just send the plane.’”
Of late, interests surfaced over how close the two are to each other. Korean internet users talk about the words of Kim Lim last year. A local economic daily also covered it.

8 Days reported last June that Kim Lim had sent a plane to ‘rescue’ Seungri in Bali without specifying the date. 8 Days is a weekly, which covers entertainment, food, movies, fashion, beauty, and travel.

“He called me to say he was stuck in Bali as they had closed the airport ‘cos of the volcano eruption,” she told the magazine. “So I asked my dad, who knows him too, and he said ‘Okay lah, just send the plane.’”
