Korea’s leading lender will join hands with Samsung Fire

Woori Bank, one of the leading South Korean lenders, announced on June 15 that it would offer insurance services in Vietnam for the first time among foreign companies in the Southeast Asian country.

To do so, the bank has joined hands with Samsung Fire, the top non-life insurance company in South Korea.

Through the partnership, corporate customers of Woori Bank are expected to receive far more convenient services thanks to the protection provided by Samsung Fire in Vietnam.

Samsung Life’s Vietnam entity was founded in 2002 for the first time among South Korean insurance companies.

Based on its financial prowess, the outfit is viewed as one of the most trusted insurance companies in the country.

“Our customers expect the best services for their assets. To meet the requirements, we have decided to team up with Samsung Fire,” a Woori Bank official said.

“In the future, we will continue to come up with attractive products in line with the needs of our clients in Vietnam.”
